Phil Kogan is a Washington DC based photographer specializing in fashion, beauty, portrait, and fashion event photography. Phil has photographed the portfolios of several Washington designers. He has also photographed DC area actors, muscians, and models and his work has has been featured in a number of photography shows and exhibitions.
These are a couple of different portrait looks of Maddy Johnson. The first one was shot when Maddy arrived for the shoot and before makeup and hair were done. The second was shot at the end of the shoot after we had completed the outfit shots and before we wrapped for the day.

I met Eryker Becker owner of Angels N Divas at DC Fashion Week during the fall 2011 show. She provided wardrobe for my shoot with Sasha. Styling by Jennifer Miller who also provided JEM scarves and jewelry. Hair and makeup by Kim Reyes. In several white background shots I used a modified artificial high key setup.
My shoot with Amy was my first model shoot of 2012. Amy is versatile and brings creative ideas to the process. This was a fun way to begin the year.
Charleston Magazine requested retailers at Charleston Fashion Week to submit images for their fashion week feature in the March issue. I worked with designer Jen Miller to get shots of her JEM scarves for the submission.
My last shoot of 2011 was with DC Fashion Week models Justine & Mansi. La Petite Marmoset provided styling that featured vintage and reconstructed clothing. Hair and makeup by Kim Reyes.
Elizabeth St. John Couture provided wardrobe for two looks for this shoot with Sasha.
