Stephanie Williams is a third year student at the George Washington University School of Medicine. In June 2010 Stephanie won the Miss District of Columbia crown. In January 2011 Stephanie will be in Las Vegas competing for the Miss America title. Wardrobe provided by Svetlana Horvat and Elizabeth St. John Couture. Kim Reyes hair and makeup.

I attended the annual runway show at West Potomac Academy in Alexandria, VA. The show is produced by Maggy Fancy Francois who runs the school’s fashion design program. The show had the high energy level to be expected from a high school production. But it also had some great designs from the students and also from establishedl designers including Betsy Johnson.

On April 10, 2010 I photographed the “Fashion for Paws” show at the Embassy of Italy. Proceeds went to the Washington Humane Society.
